Smoky Sunset on Reflection Lakes
A smoky sunset on Reflection Lakes in September 2009. Some of the wildfire smoke caused me problems earlier in the day with haze in Stevens Canyon but I had a few shots during sunset where it added to the colours available.

Cowlitz Box Canyon – Mount Rainier NP
In Mt. Rainier National Park the Muddy Fork of the Cowlitz River has cut through the rock to a depth of 200 feet in places to form Cowlitz Box Canyon. Peering over the bridge into the depths is not for the acrophobic.
