Earlier I mentioned my debate between the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM lenses. I ultimately chose the f/4 L IS version. What I did not do before is include a few photos of the lens itself.

With Hood (Canon ET-74):
I love this lens. Not only does it give me added range over my previous longest lens – the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro, but the colour and sharpness of this lens is great. It should be, its an “L” lens. Harder to fit in my bag but totally worth it. The IS is great, as it is on the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM. I cannot imagine buying a non-IS version of a lens if an IS version is available in the future.
